Driving to ECU's
Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium
The North Carolina Highway Patrol, Greenville Police, East Carolina University Police, the Police Departments of Pitt County, and East Carolina University Athletics Department personnel cooperate to implement an extensive traffic control system for the convenience of fans driving to ECU Pirate football games in Greenville.
Your cooperation in complying with the system will speed your arrival and departure into and out of Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
Please study the accompanying maps to familiarize yourself with the
parking areas and entry into each. Most parking around Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium is permit only. Fans should follow the appropriate
routes to their parking areas as follows:
Minges/Gold/Gray/Blue/Orange Lots: Follow Charles Blvd. and turn onto Ficklen Drive. (Lots 1 - 6)
Purple Lot: Follow Elm Street and turn on 14th Street. Turn on Berkley Road. (Lot 10)
White Lot: Follow the same route and turn right on Fieldside Drive. (Alternate) Follow Greenville Blvd. and turn onto Rosewood Drive. Turn left on Fieldside Drive.(Lot 9)
Elmhurst Lot: Follow Elm Street to West Overlook. (Lot 8)
Clark-LeClair/Williams Jungle/VIP/Softball/SPC Lots: Follow Greenville Blvd. and turn onto Charles Blvd. (Lots 11-15)
Belk/General Public Lots: Follow 10th Street (from East or West) or 14th Street (from West) and turn onto Charles Blvd. (Lot 16-17).
Other General Public Parking: Access via 10th Street. Lots are on Marching Pirates' parade route. (Lot 7).

EARLY ARRIVAL IS ENCOURAGED TO EXPEDITE PARKING AND THE FLOW OF FANS INTO THE STADIUM PRIOR TO KICKOFF. PARKING LOTS OPEN 6 HOURS PRIOR TO KICKOFF UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. |

University Parking Lots
Vehicles are parked one vehicle per parking space. Under University
policy, kegs are not permitted in University parking areas. Once the
game has begun, persons still in the parking areas will be asked to
move into the stadium. Porta-johns are provided in university parking
areas.
Please help to keep our University clean by bagging all refuse and depositing it in the trash containers provided in the parking lots.

Parking Pass Availability
For information concerning parking pass availability,

availability, call (252) 737-4694.

Opening of Parking Lots
All University parking lots will open six (6) hours prior to game
time. No vehicles are permitted to enter these parking lots until game
day.

Parking Location
To assist you in locating your vehicle after the game, please be
certain to observe a reference point with regard to the location of
your parked vehicle.

Overnight RV Parking
Overnight parking for RVs is permitted for Friday evenings after 6 p.m. in the designated area. All vehicles must be self-contained; no electrical hook-ups are available. Contact (252) 737-4694 for specific recreational vehicle parking information.

Parking and Traffic
Information
Campus parking and traffic information is transmitted over
the radio on AM530 by ECU Parking and Traffic Services.

Exiting the Football Stadium Area
- From Ficklen Drive or VIP Lot: All traffic will be directed toward
14th Street. Left turn lane will be allowed to turn left onto 14th
Street. Through traffic will be directed to 10th Street. No
right turns onto 14th Street.
- From Gold Lot: All traffic will
turn left out of the parking lot onto Berkley Road and directed toward
14th Street, where all traffic will turn right onto 14th Street and
directed toward Elm Street. The lane of travel you are in at 14th
Street and Elm Street will determine direction of travel.
- Far Left Lane (nearest Eppes School): Turn left onto Elm Street toward 10th Street.
- Center/"Turn" Lane: Directed
straight ahead on 14th Street toward Greenville Boulevard.
- Far Right Lane (nearest Elmhurst School): Turn right onto Elm Street toward Greenville Boulevard.
- From Clark-LeClair/Softball/Allied Health Lots: All traffic will be directed toward Greenville Boulevard.
- AFTER THE FOOTBALL GAME, THERE WILL BE NO TRAFFIC AT ANY INTERSECTION ALLOWED TO PROCEED TOWARD THE STADIUM AREA UNTIL THE FOOTBALL TRAFFIC HAS SUBSIDED.
